Terms of Service

By creating a ZuuPay account or using the ZuuPay website or Android app, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. What the service does

ZuuPay is a payment verification tool, not a bank, wallet or payment aggregator. Your customers pay you directly on your own UPI ID. We give each order a unique amount, read the payment alert on your own phone through our app, match it to the order, and tell your website that the order is paid. At no point does ZuuPay receive, hold or transfer your money.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to run a business in India. You are responsible for holding any licences or registrations that your own business requires.

3. Your account

• Give correct information when registering and keep it up to date.
• Keep your password, API key, API secret and device token private. Anything done with your credentials is treated as done by you.
• Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access to your account.
• One account is meant for one business. Do not resell access without our written permission.

4. Your own phone and app

The Android app must only be installed on a phone that you own or control, and only for reading your own business payment alerts. Installing it on someone else's phone without their knowledge is not allowed and may be illegal.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use ZuuPay for:

• Anything illegal under Indian law.
• Gambling, betting or lotteries where these are not lawfully permitted.
• Fraud, money laundering, or moving money for someone else without proper authorisation.
• Sending us fake or altered payment messages, or trying to confirm an order that was not paid.
• Attacking, overloading, scanning or reverse engineering the service.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, without notice.

6. Accuracy and limits

Automatic confirmation depends on things outside our control: your bank's alerts, the UPI apps, your phone's battery and internet, and Android's own restrictions. We do our best but we cannot promise that every payment will be detected, or detected instantly. You should always check your own bank statement before delivering anything of high value. Orders expire after the time shown on the payment page; a payment made after that may not be matched automatically.

7. Availability

We try to keep the service running at all times but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, hosting problems or events outside our control can cause downtime.

8. Fees

Any fees for your plan will be shown to you before they apply. Government taxes are extra where applicable.

9. Liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent allowed by law, ZuuPay is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses caused by a payment being missed, delayed or wrongly matched. You remain responsible for your own business decisions and for reconciling your bank account.

10. Ending the service

You may stop using the service and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may end or suspend your account if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service.

11. Privacy

How we handle your information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The updated version will appear on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Delhi will have jurisdiction.
